An Evening of Holiday Memories

Attend a very special “Evening of Holiday Memories”!  Enjoy tales of Hanukkah and Christmas featuring special guests Saragail Benjamin with the GMALL Drumming Workshop Troupe and The Dorset Players, live holiday music, mulled cider and wine, and sweet and savory delights.  All are welcome. This lovely event is MSL’s gift to the community.

Jingle All the Way to the Mark Skinner Library for a Super Saturday Santa Program on December 14, at 10:30 a.m. Meet and take pictures with Santa and Elf Express Elves. Enjoy stories and snacks. Be eligible to win a free copy of the book, "Christopher Pop-In-Kins."

JOIN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE GROUP

Brush up on your foreign language conversation skills at Mark Skinner Library. Burr and Burton Academy, Maple Street School, and MSL are teaming up again to host conversation groups in German, French, and Spanish.Please note the following schedules:

German: one meeting per month October - May. First Tuesday of the month. 7- 8p.m. Oct. 1, Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 4, April 1, May 6

Spanish: one meeting per month - October - May. First Friday of the month.  3p.m - 4p.m. Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Dec. 6, Jan. 3, Feb. 7, March 7, April 4, May 2

French: two six-week sessions, one meeting per week. Thursdays, 7- 8p.m. Session 1 - starts October 10 Session 2 - starts in February

BBA foreign language teachers Barb Miceli, Michelle Emery, and Sue Ritchie keep the meetings lively along with teacher Lizzy Lindenberg from Maple Street School.
